AES Encrypt / Decrypt

AES-256-GCM with PBKDF2-SHA256 (100,000 iterations). The output packs salt, IV, and ciphertext into one Base64 string — the same passphrase and this tool are all you need to decrypt it.
AES Encrypt / Decrypt
Protect sensitive text with AES-256-GCM, the authenticated encryption mode recommended for modern applications. Enter your message and a passphrase; the tool derives a 256-bit key with PBKDF2-SHA256 (100,000 iterations) and encrypts everything locally through the browser's built-in WebCrypto engine.
The result is a single Base64 string containing a random salt, a random IV, and the authenticated ciphertext. Because every encryption uses fresh randomness, encrypting the same text twice produces different output — that is expected. To decrypt, paste the Base64 string back in with the same passphrase. Nothing you type ever leaves your device.
File encryption
Switch to file mode to encrypt any file into a .aes payload, or decrypt a .aes file back to its original bytes. Files are processed locally and never uploaded.
Random salt and IV generator
Each encryption shows the random salt and IV it used, and you can copy them. A built-in generator also produces fresh salt and IV values as Base64 for your own crypto code.
