Data Manager

View, export, and clear the data tools keep in this browser, and restore it from a backup.

This tool runs entirely in your browser. Your input is never uploaded.

Tool data remembering is off by default. My data (favorites, groups, recent tools) is on by default.

Reading saved data…

Data Manager

BrowserKit can remember your inputs and settings between visits. There are two separate switches: tool data remembering is off by default, while my data (favorites, groups, and recent tools) is on by default. This manager shows you exactly what is stored in this browser and lets you take control of it.

  • Tool data — every tool with saved state is listed with its field count and size. Export or import one tool's data individually, or delete it. Row contents are not shown — this page manages data without displaying it.
  • My data — favorites (with their group layout) as a single exportable item, plus a recent-tools history that is tracked automatically and can only be cleared.
  • The header shows a live total, separate toggles for tool data and my data remembering, and buttons to export a full backup, clear all tool data, or refresh the list.

Backup and restore

Export all downloads browserkit-data-backup.json, a versioned snapshot of every domain. Import backup reads such a file and replaces the stored data after confirmation. Unknown or outdated entries are skipped safely, and favorite groups are reconciled against the imported favorites list. Domains that are absent (null) in the file keep their current value — importing never erases what is not in the backup. Each individual row can also be exported as its own JSON or re-imported to replace just that item.

Everything runs locally in this browser — the manager only touches the data this site itself stored on your device.

A growing collection of browser-only tools. Your data stays on your device whenever the browser can handle the task.
