Text Sorter
Sort lines alphabetically, by Chinese pinyin, number, or length, shuffle randomly, or apply custom priority rules locally in your browser.
This tool runs entirely in your browser. Your input is never uploaded.
Sort modes
Paste one item per line and pick a sort mode. Alphabetical sorting uses locale-aware, case-insensitive comparison with natural number handling, so item 2 comes before item 10. Pinyin mode orders Chinese text by pronunciation. Numeric mode sorts by the first number found in each line, and length mode sorts by character count.
Random and custom order
Random mode shuffles lines with a Fisher-Yates shuffle; use Shuffle again to re-roll. Custom rules mode sorts lines by an ordered keyword list you provide: each line takes the position of the first keyword it contains, so a list of 高, 中, 低 turns a mixed list into priority order.
Direction and unmatched lines
Every mode supports ascending and descending order. Lines without a number, or lines matching no custom rule, always stay at the bottom in their original order regardless of direction.
Privacy
All sorting happens locally in your browser. Text is never uploaded or stored on a server.
