Dice Roller

Roll polyhedral dice for tabletop RPGs entirely in your browser. Type standard dice notation — 2d20kh1+3, 4d6dl1, 4d6!, d% — or tap a preset for common rolls like advantage, disadvantage, and percentile dice.

Supported notation

• NdS rolls N dice with S sides, e.g. 4d6. The count is optional: d20 rolls one die.
• d% is shorthand for a d100 (percentile die).
• kh, kl, dh, dl keep or drop the highest/lowest dice, e.g. 4d6dl1 (ability scores) or 2d20kh (advantage). A number sets how many: 4d6dl2.
• ! explodes a die: when it rolls its maximum, it is rolled again and added to the total, repeating on a chain. Change the trigger with a compare point: 4d6!>4 explodes on 4 or more, 4d6!<2 on ones.
• Combine terms with +, -, *, and truncating /, and group with parentheses: (1d6+2)*2.

Reading the results

Each die shows its value. Dice removed by keep/drop are struck through, and an ! badge marks dice that exploded (hover to see the full roll chain). Copy the result as notation: [rolls] = total.

Notes

• Dice counts from 1 to 999, die sizes from 1 to 1000, and explode chains up to 100 rerolls.
• Rolls use the browser Web Crypto API for uniform, unbiased results with no modulo skew.
• Your last expression and recent rolls are remembered locally (if "remember tool data" is on); nothing is uploaded.
