Favicon Generator

What is this tool?

A favicon is the small icon browsers show in the tab, in bookmarks and on a phone's home screen. Different places need different sizes and formats. This tool takes a single image — PNG, JPG, WebP or SVG — and produces the whole set in your browser.

Source image

Drop a file or paste SVG source. A square image gives the cleanest result, but the tool crops any source to a centered square (cover). When you paste an SVG, you can also export a true vector favicon.svg.

Options

Pick a transparent or solid color background, set a corner radius for rounded icons, and type the app name used inside the PWA manifest. Choose which favicon PNG sizes, ICO sizes and maskable sizes to generate, and toggle the Apple touch icon, the maskable set and the manifest.

Outputs

Download individual files, or grab everything at once as a single ZIP. The set includes favicon.ico, favicon-*.png, an optional favicon.svg, the opaque apple-touch-icon-180x180.png, the Android android-chrome-*.png icons (plus maskable variants) and site.webmanifest. Apple touch icons stay opaque and ignore the corner radius, since iOS applies its own shape.

Privacy

Everything is generated locally. Your source image never leaves the browser.
