What is this tool?

Turn small pixel drawings into animated GIFs without leaving your browser. Draw frame by frame on a grid, set a delay for each frame, preview the animation, and export a real GIF89a file.

Drawing

Pick a color from the palette, choose the eraser for transparency, or use fill to flood a region. Drag on the grid to paint. The grid can be resized between 8×8 and 32×32; resizing re-maps existing pixels.

Frames

Use "Add frame" to copy the current frame and continue drawing, reorder frames with the arrows, duplicate, or delete. Each frame has its own delay in milliseconds. Press "Play" to preview, or export the finished GIF.

Limits

The GIF encoder uses a fixed palette with transparency, so very colorful 32×32 frames are fine but extreme color counts are simplified. Export is limited to reasonable canvas sizes for performance.

Privacy

Everything runs locally. No frames are uploaded.
